Although the median price of a single-family home in the greater Albuquerque area increased 15.3% in September compared to the same month last year, the number of homes on the market is beginning to grow, providing some relief to homebuyers. Cross-country Albuquerque Academy’s girls varsity cross-country team placed second in the APS Metro Cross Country Championships over the weekend. The team had an average time of 20:30 in the 5,000 Meter Run Finals, ending the meet with 62 points. Sue Cleveland High School came in first for girls varsity, also with 62 points and an average team time of 20:25. Dennis Chavez Elementary students are wearing their favorite color to school on Tuesday, Oct. 11, to kick off Spirit Week at the school. The Panthers continue showing off their school spirit with Rainbow Day on Wednesday, Oct. 12, followed by Backwards Day on Thursday, Oct. 13, and then they end the week with a Jog-A-Thon Friday, Oct. 14.
