The next installment of Albuquerque Police Department’s “Coffee with a Cop” program is set for Aug. 30 at the Weck’s location at Riverside Plaza.
The event, which is designed to give people a chance to ask questions, raise concerns and get to know the police officers in the neighborhood, runs from 9-10:30 a.m.
Officers from the Northwest Area Command will be in attendance to answer questions and have a conversation with members of the community.
The Coffee with a Cop program began in 2016 with the intentions of encouraging communication and positive interactions between law enforcement agencies and the public.
