Three elementary schools in the neighborhood are partnering with the Rio Grande Educational Collaborative to provide after-school care.
Petroglyph Elementary School, Tierra Antigua Elementary School and Chamiza Elementary School will each offer programs after school for students beginning Wednesday.
Rio Grande Educational Collaborative offers development, application and management of innovative programs that build on traditional education. RGEC offers unique after-school learning programs that are geared toward extended learning. In addition to offering dedicated daily homework help, a key aspect of the program is the enrichment learning opportunities.
