According to unofficial results on the Secretary of State’s website, Godshall defeated GOP contestant Lisa Maria Martinez in the primaries with 61% of the vote. City councilors approved the sale of up to $100 million in Gross Receipts Tax Improvement Revenue Bonds on Monday. Bond money will be used for an assortment of projects throughout Albuquerque, including $15 million for the North Domingo Baca Aquatics Center, fully funding the $32 million project. Councilor Brook Bassan thanked the council for approving the sale, which was passed unanimously, adding that her district is “very excited” to put tax dollars to work. American Youth Soccer Organization Region 104 is teaming up with UK International to provide a summer full of soccer camps at El Oso Grande Park. Five soccer camps and a development academy for three age groups are being offered, starting June 20 and ending in August.
