Albuquerque Police Department made an arrest Friday for a murder in February at Westgate Community Park.
Michael Salinas Jr., 15, is charged with murder in the Feb. 26 shooting that left 19-year-old Vincent Phuc Loc Le dead.
According to an obituary, Loc Le went to Volcano Vista High School.
Salinas was booked into the Bernalillo County Juvenile Detention Center Friday. He is accused of planning a fight with another individual at the park following a Volcano Vista basketball game. As four individuals approached the park, Salinas got out of his car and fired 17 shots, killing Loc Le and injuring three others. Someone from the car Loc Le was in fired 13 shots at Salinas.
