The Department of Cultural Affairs now offers what they’re calling a FamilyPass for up to six people per household and can be picked up at any local library in the city for 15 state-run museums and historic sites throughout the state for free.
The FamilyPass can be checked out for up to one week, and includes museums such as New Mexico Museum of Space History, Museum of Art, Museum of Natural History and Science, just to name a few. The pass also includes historic sites throughout the state to include Fort Sumner, Stanton and Selden, as well as Coronado, Jemez and Lincoln Historic sites.
If one week just isn’t enough to pack in all these great activities, the New Mexico CulturePass is also available for only $30 for all 15 sites and lasts for 12 months after purchase.
These state-run sites are also free to New Mexico residents every first Sunday of the month, and all one has to do in show a state-issued ID.
If you’re looking for something for the whole family to enjoy this spring, or some new activities on a day trip out check out all the sites at https://newmexicoculture.org/visit.
