A crimemapping.com report for the week of Nov. 4-10 shows there was a call for shots fired on the 8400 block of Tierra Morena Pl. NE at 8:14 p.m. Nov. 6. Two other calls for shots fired occurred at 7:22 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 9, just north of North Domingo Baca Park. No other information about those incidents were posted to the Crime Mapping website.
The same report shows there was a call for a residential burglary on the 6200 block of Alameda Blvd. NE at 6:31 p.m. Nov. 7. There were more than 100 incidents reported in the far northeast coverage area for the week.

The following map shows incidents reported by the Albuquerque Police Department for the week of Nov. 4-10 in the far northeast area of Albuquerque, around the boundaries of Elena Drive, Interstate 25, Paseo del Norte Boulevard and Tramway Boulevard.
According to crimemapping.com, there were 91 incidents of disturbing peace, four burglary, five assault, one vehicle break-in/theft, four vandalism, nine larceny, one motor vehicle theft and one fraud for the week of Nov. 4-10.

North Albuquerque Acres and Sandia Heights are unincorporated and serviced by the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office. The most recent BCSO crime data is for the first quarter of 2022. The data only shows county-wide crime statistics and does not show locations of where the crimes occurred.
According to the data, there were four non-negligent murders in the first quarter of 2022 reported by BCSO. The greatest number of crimes reported were for simple assault, at 395 incidents in the first quarter of 2022, a 9.82% decrease from the fourth quarter of 2021.
Mid-year statistics recently released by the Albuquerque Police Department show a decrease in crimes against property and crimes against person from previous years. The Twitter account for APD Police Chief Harold Medina provides a chart in a Nov. 9 post.

The mid-year report says there were 57 non-negligent murders in the first two quarters of reporting. A list of homicides reported by APD shows the 57th homicide of the year occurred on June 25 at 900 Atrisco SW. That homicide has yet to be solved, according to APD’s list.
Revised homicide data
The total number of non-negligent murders, or homicides, reported in 2021 was revised from 116 to 112, as four of the cases are now considered justifiable homicides, which is a different category under Federal Bureau of Investigation guidelines. A total of 109 non-negligent murder, or homicides, have been reported by APD so far this year. Two recent incidents — one involving an infant who died in the care of his parents, and another where two men struggled over a firearm — are considered negligent manslaughter.
There were 13 homicides reported in APD’s Northeast Area Command and 13 in the Foothills Area Command so far this year. The following map shows APD area command boundaries and locations of homicides reported by APD in 2022.
