Sandia Resort & Casino is hosting a June 4 “Ultimate Watch Party” as New Mexico United take on Orange County SC on the road. The party starts at 6:30 p.m. with kickoff at 7 p.m. The party continues through the night with entertainment, food and drinks.

The game will be played in the Sandia Sports Bar, where there are more than 50 televisions. There will also be food, cocktails and scenic views of the Sandia Mountains. The game, being broadcast on KOAT and ESPN+, will also be played on the 25-foot video wall in the Tlur Pa Lounge on the main floor of the resort, inside the Ba Shie bar next to the casino floor, and on screens throughout the casino.

The New Mexico United website says, “Fans can expect great giveaways and an exciting atmosphere.” Attendees can enter a drawing for a chance to win a round of golf with two friends and United forward Chris Wehan at the Sandia Resort & Casino Golf Course.

Sandia is also offering a $249 special for a party of six with premium leather loungers and captain’s chairs, four hours of viewing, two party platters, gifts and swag. United fans can make reservations by calling 505-796-7500 or by visiting the Sandia Sports Bar in person.

Orange County SC are the 2021 United Soccer League reigning champions, beating the Tampa Bay Rowdies in a 3-1 victory to take the title last year. Orange County is currently ranked 12th in the USL Western Conference standings. New Mexico United is sixth in the standings, one point behind rival El Paso Locomotive FC.
