The Mariposa Community Center suggested a non-traditional treasure hunt for Halloween instead of trick-or-treating this year.

“Rather than traditional trick-or-treating this year, you may opt for a family-focused backyard treasure hunt! We’ve created all sorts of printable to wrap, disguise, and present your Halloween treats so you can hide your candy from the trees, in the bushes, under a chair or around a corner,” it says on the community page.

The center created a few arts and crafts-focused activities to go along with the treasure hunt theme:

• Halloween Candy Bar Wraps

• Halloween Apothecary Labels

• Halloween Printable Framed Signs

• Spooky Signs

• Halloween Candy Tubes

• Goodie Bag

• Triangle Gift Boxes
