Here is a recap of last week’s games for Eldorado High School sports teams, according to the Albuquerque Public Schools athletics schedule and Maxpreps.
Football
The Golden Eagles Varsity team (1-5) lost to Volcano Vista on Friday 52-29.
It is rivalry week for EHS with the La Cueva Bears on Friday, Sept. 30, at Wilson stadium. Students have rivalry events throughout the week, including camouflage day on Monday when students sported camo attire for bear hunting season.

The JV team (2-2) lost to VV 61-16 on Monday, Sept, 19. The freshman team (1-4) also lost to VV Tuesday, Sept 20, 40-0.
Volleyball
The varsity team (8-2) had two wins last week, defeating VV 3-0 on Tuesday. Then, on Thursday, the team bested Albuquerque Academy 3-0.
The JV team (3-4) lost on Tuesday to VV 2-1, but won against the Albuquerque Academy on Thursday 2-0.
The freshman team also lost to VV on Tuesday 2-0, and won against AA 2-1.
Soccer
The boys varsity soccer team (3-5-3) played against Piedra Vista in Farmington and won 9-1, but lost to Sandia High School on Friday 1-0.
The boys JV team also won against Piedra Vista 10-0 on Tuesday, and won against Sandia 8-1 on Saturday. The team’s full schedule has not been updated via Maxpreps, rendering the full season stats on the site inaccurate.
The girls varsity team (9-1-1) has had a stellar season so far with only one loss and one tied game. The girls won against Piedra Vista Tuesday 6-0 and against Sandia 1-0 on Saturday.
