    Updated April 13, 2022 to include the egg hunt at Rotary Park.

    The following is a list of Easter Sunday services and egg hunts at churches and other locations in the far Northeast Heights. If you do not see a service listed here, visit the submit an event page to request the service be published on the Neighborhood Journal calendar.

    • New Covenant Church at 7200 Holly Ave. NE will have an Easter service at 10 a.m. Sunday, April 17. For more information, visit nccabq.org.
    • Heights First Church of the Nazarene, 8401 Paseo Del Norte NE, Easter service begins with a 7 a.m. virtual sunrise service followed by a 9 a.m. Easter breakfast and a 10 a.m. choir presentation. For more information, visit hfcn.org.
    • Grace Church at 6901 San Antonio Drive NE will host a special communion service at 6 p.m. on Good Friday, April 15. An Easter bash is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon April 16 and includes pancakes, bounce houses, egg hunts, candy and free gifts. Easter Sunday service is scheduled from 9-10:30 a.m. April 17.     • Sandia Presbyterian Church, 10704 Paseo Del Norte NE, will have traditional Easter Sunday services from 8-9:30 a.m. and contemporary service at 11 a.m. April 17. Services include free local donuts and coffee. An Easter egg hunt is scheduled for 9:30-10:30 a.m. April 17 during children’s classes. For more information, visit sandiapres.org.
    • The Albuquerque Chinese Church at 9600 Ranchitos Road NE offers Chinese Sunday service from 9-11:30 am and English service from 9:25-11:30 am. For more information, visit en.nmaccc.org.
    • The Triumph Centre! At 7800 Holbook St. NE is having Easter Sunday service at 10:30 a.m. followed by an egg hunt around 11:45 am. For more information, visit triumphabq.org/easter.
    • Risen Savior Catholic Community, 7701 Wyoming Blvd. NE, offers a 7 p.m. Holy Thursday service April 14, a Good Friday service at 3 p.m. April 15, Holy Saturday Easter Vigil at 8:30 p.m. April 16, and Easter Sunday services at 7 a.m., 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. April 17.     • Grace Lutheran Church at 7550 Eubank Blvd. NE offers a 7 a.m. Wednesday prayer at grace, a 9 a.m. Sunday service, a 10:30 a.m. Sunday Bible class and a 10:30 a.m. Sunday school. For more information, visit gracelutheran-nm.org.
    • Hoffmantown Church at 8888 Harper Drive NE will have an April 17 gospel message, prayer and worship service from 9:30-11 a.m. Visit hoffmantownchurch.org for more information.
    • St. Peter’s Anglican Church, 8100 Eubank Blvd. NE, offers a Sunday Holy Eucharist at 9:30 am. Visit holycatholicanglican.org for more information.
    • Anchor Church offers a 10 a.m. Sunday service at Desert Ridge Middle School, 8400 Barstow St. NE. For more information, visit anchorchurch.com/north.
    • The Northeast Church of Christ at 11000 Paseo Del Norte NE offers Wednesday Bible classes at 7 pm, Sunday Bible study at 9:30 am, and Sunday worship at 10:30 am and 5 pm. Visit necofc.org for more.
    • An Easter egg hunt will take place at Rotary Park in the Heritage East neighborhood Saturday, April 16 from 1:30-3 pm. The event includes bag decorating, egg hunts by age groups, egg-on-a-spoon races, 3-legged races, and an egg toss. For more information visit hear-online.org/events.
