The Explora STEM event delves into the earth with identifying and learning about different rock sediments. Using microscopes and magnification glasses called loupes, students will learn about types of rocks, geological features such as layers, that identify a rock’s life cycle and perform tests to reveal a mystery mineral.

The event runs 2-3 p.m. Tuesday June 28, at Juan Tabo Library and is for ages 9-12. It iss limited to 20 participants and requires registration, which can be made by clicking  here.
