The La Cueva varsity boys soccer team ended their first game of the season with a 1-1 draw against Albuquerque High on Wednesday. The Bears away game was played just after the La Cueva girls lost 3-2 against the Bulldogs the same day.

MaxPreps shows the boys roster includes 10 seniors, 10 juniors, two sophomores and two freshmen led by head coach Easy Jimenez. Their next game is an Albuquerque Metro Championship matchup against Valley on Tuesday, Aug. 23, at the APS Soccer Complex. The game is scheduled for 6:45-8:30 p.m.
