Albuquerque Animal Welfare is hosting a virtual kitten and puppy shower in anticipation of an influx of orphaned puppies and kittens through the summer season.

Donations are being collected through April 30 and can be dropped off at any of the department’s shelters. A list of shelter locations is available at www.cabq.gov/pets. Items can also be ordered off the baby registry on Amazon by searching for “Kennel Kompadres.”

Additionally, Animal Welfare is seeking foster parents to provide temporary homes for animals. Those interested in fostering can apply here.
