Rio Rancho ended the Chargers’ nine-game win streak on Saturday, beating them 2-1 in a nondistrict away game. MaxPreps credits sophomore M. They take on Bernalillo in a district away game at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 18. Bernalillo is 4-12-1 overall and 0-6 in 4A District 6.

The Lady Chargers also lost to Rio Ranch on Saturday, ending the game with three goals to the Rams’ four. Senior Anna Babinski, junior Piper Wiese and senior Jaclyn Lehrman all put one in the back of the net for Academy. Babinski and Lehrman are credited with assists by MaxPreps. The Lady Chargers are 11-5-3 overall and have a record of 5-2 in 4A District 6. They face Bernalillo at 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, in a district home game.
