Open enrollment is officially open for Albuquerque Fire Rescue’s 101st Cadet Class.
The class begins in August and registration can be completed online or in person at Albuquerque Fire Training Academy.

Cadet/firefighter $17.02/hour
Cadet/paramedic firefighter $20.80/hour
First year annual salary
Probationary firefighter $39,545.22
Probationary paramedic firefighter $45,617
Second year annual salary
Firefighter $62,196.42
Paramedic firefighter $64,933.44
Plus, there is a $15,000 hiring bonus for paramedics.
