    Northeast ABQ traffic report

    There’s no shortage of roadwork going on in the Northeast Heights. Here’s a look at some of the projects that could impact traffic.

    ACADEMY from WYOMING to TRAMWAY

    The eastbound and westbound right lane and sidewalk are closed for a Truck Mounted Mobile operation on Academy between Wyoming and Tramway. Traffic will be maintained in the inside lane in both directions. Simultaneous closure of both sides of the road will not be permitted. Closure at the major intersection will be from 4-6 a.m.

    ACADEMY from LAYTON to MOON

    There is a closure of the eastbound right lane, bike lane and sidewalk on Academy Road between Moon and Layton streets. Traffic will be maintained in the inside lane. The lane closure will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

    CANDELARIA at JUAN TABO NE

    The southbound left lane closure on Carlisle between Montgomery and Comanche will be in effect from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.. Traffic will be maintained in the center and right lanes.

    EUBANK from ACADEMY to JUAN TABO

    There is a closure of the southbound right lane and sidewalk on Eubank between Academy and Juan Tabo. Closure hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

    HARPER from VENTURA to HARPER

    The southbound right lane and bike lane are closed on Ventura Street at Harper Road. Southbound traffic will be reduced to one lane. East- and westbound outside lane closures on Harper Road at Ventura Ave. are in effect  for utility locating. Construction will be permitted from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Inside lanes will remain open to traffic at all times.

    SPAIN from JUAN TABO to MOON

    Work here includes three phases of traffic impact. Phase 1: Eastbound lane and bike lane closure on Spain between Moon and Juan Tabo. Phase 2: Center two-way left turn lane closure on Spain between Juan Tabo and Moon. Phase 3: Westbound lane closure on Spain between Juan Tabo and Moon. Construction runs from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

    SPAIN from WYOMING to TRAMWAY

    Eastbound and Westbound right lane and sidewalk closure using Truck Mounted Mobile

    operation on Spain between Wyoming and Tramway.

    Closure on both sides of the road simultaneously not permitted.

    Work at the intersection will be from 4:00am to 6:00am.

    LANE CLOSURE FROM 9 A.M. TO 4 P.M. ONLY.

     

    WYOMING From CANDELARIA To ACADEMY

    There is a closure of the northbound and southbound right lane and sidewalk closure using on Wyoming between Candelaria and Academy. Traffic will be maintained in the inside lane in both directions. Simultaneous closures on both sides of the road are not permitted. Closure at major intersections will be from 4-6 a.m. with lane closures set to run 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
