October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and women remind each other to go get mammograms in addition to other women’s health concerns. The wellness health event hosted by Lovelace Women’s Hospital at 4701 Montgomery Blvd. NE will feature walk-in mammograms, women’s health screenings, face painting, Halloween activities, food trucks and more. It is free to attend, and costumes are encouraged.

Festivities and screenings will be 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 15. To register for the event, click here.
