Summer is coming to an end, but before we smell the green chiles roasting and see the balloons in the sky, there is one more chance to celebrate before the season is over.

Westside Summerfest is Saturday at Ventana Ranch Park. The free, family-friendly event is the last installment of a series of concerts that celebrate everything local presented by the city of Albuquerque.

From 5-10 p.m., the park will be filled with local vendors, shops, breweries and two stages will be home to several local music acts.

There will be plenty of activities for the kids, including free face painting, inflatable jump houses, and a 25-foot climbing wall presented by the city of Albuquerque Parks & Recreation Department. The Society for Creative Anachronism will be dueling and  at 5:30 and 7:30 p.m., kids can fight a knight.

The music lineup is:

East Stage

West Stage

More than a dozen local breweries, wineries and  distilleries will be on hand to serve up tasty alcoholic beverages in The Cantina, and several local businesses will be set up to sell products in The Shops.

Free park-and-ride will be available leaving from CNM Westside Campus. Free Sun Van shuttles will take event-goers to and from the park throughout the event. Sun Vans are handicap accessible. Strollers, lawn chairs, canopies and coolers are allowed on shuttles. Glass items or alcohol are not permitted on shuttles.

Free Bike Valet will also be provided by Esperanza Bike Education Center. Look for their large, yellow flags.
