Registration is open for this summer’s Volcano Vista Football Camp.
The camp is 8 a.m. to noon June 25 at the Volcano Vista High School Football Field. It is open to students in grades two through eight.
Campers will be instructed by Volcano Vista coaches and players with focus on sportsmanship, attitude, discipline, effort and brotherhood.
This is a non-padded, skills-based camp for kids at all experience levels. In addition to learning basic fundamentals, kids will develop defensive and offensive skills through drills and receive core skills training in agility, speed and explosiveness.
The $50 registration fee includes a camp T-shirt, sports drinks and lunch and a waterslide at the conclusion of camp. Campers are asked to wear workout clothes, cleats or running shoes and sunscreen. Don’t forget to bring a hat and a water bottle.
Parents will need to fill out a registration form and a release of liability waiver, which they can download here.
Cash and checks are accepted or parents can prepay via PayPal by sending $50 to vvhshawksfootballboosters@gmail.com. Staff will be available to take payments and registration forms at 7:30 a.m. June 25 at the VVHS football field.
