All sophomores and any juniors who registered at Volcano Vista High School will take the PSAT/NMSQT on Oct. 12.

The test will be given at 7:25 a.m. with testing students getting an early release after lunch. If a student needs bus transportation, buses will run at the normal time, but there will be activities on campus for students to take part in after lunch.

Room assignments for testing will be shared during core subject classes and will be posted outside of the main office, F124, H135 and the counseling office.

Students will not be able to have their cellphones during testing. Cellphones should be left at home or they will be required to be turned off and stored for the duration of testing. Students must bring their own calculator. The electronic PSAT Student guide can be found here. Paper copies will also be given out to students in their history class.

All freshmen, seniors and non-testing juniors will not be on campus for the day to ensure an optimum testing environment. Classes will resume as normal on Oct. 13th on a B day schedule.
