The 2022 USA Cycling Masters Road National Championships is coming to Albuquerque with more than 800 bicyclists from all over the country who come to compete for national titles in street road racing competitions. The city is asking folks to volunteer for this citywide affair.

The races will commence Aug. 4-7 at locations throughout the city and east mountains and are free to watch. Individual 20K and 40K time trials will run 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 4 at Atrisco Vista Blvd. Although the public is invited, parking will be limited at this location.

Friday and Saturday will be the road races starting and ending in Sandia Park on Route 14, running from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The main event at Balloon Fiesta Park will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Sunday 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. will have national championship racing as well as awards ceremonies, vendors, food trucks and a beer garden.
