Tucked away in McMahon Marketplace, Tractor Brewing Co.  is a hidden gem in Northwest Albuquerque.

With over a dozen beers on tap and several tasty cocktails on the menu, Tractor has options if you’re having a night out or just a drink with a friend.

Manager Jean-Luc Welch, who makes the trek from Los Lunas to work at Tractor’s West Side location, said it’s the variety that makes Tractor special.

We offer sort of a relaxed place to just get any kind of drink you want,” Welch said. “There’s ciders, beer or just all around spirits and house-made cocktails. There’s not too many places, brewery-wise;  you can go for really craft-made cocktails.”

Tractor also offers up a relaxed, quiet atmosphere. There’s events every night of the week to keep patrons entertained.

  • DJ Fishbowl performs at Tractor every Friday from 6 p.m. to midnight.
  • Monday is adult coloring night.
  • Tuesday is karaoke night.
  • Wednesday is Geeks Who Drink night.
  • Thursday is Not All Heroes Wear Capes Night, which serves discounted drinks to medical professionals.
  • Saturday has live music.

“It’s not too loud or too busy,” Welch said. “There’s plenty of events going on to keep you occupied. And then there’s plenty of times where it’s just you can have a beer and talk to and know everyone who comes in.”

There is no kitchen in Tractor, but food trucks are in the parking lot Tuesday through Saturday.

Tractor offers a nice patio if you want to enjoy the weather with a drink and sells kegs, cans and growlers if you want to have a drink at home.
