The volleyball team at Tony Hillerman Middle School will be holding a silent auction at Wednesday’s game to raise money for the American Cancer Society.

The Go Pink or Go Home game is at 5 p.m. Wednesday. THMS has set a goal of $5,000 raised on the sales from specific themed baskets.

Anyone who would like to to help with other donations can contact Ms. Mancuso (mancuso@aps.edu).

Students can give donations to any of their teachers. The school is also in need of the actual basket to contain the donated items. The donations are specific for each grade level.

Sixth grade: movie night, game night, caffeine kick.

Seventh grade: gift cards (including a custom woodworking Breast Cancer Awareness flag designed and created by  Mr. Lopez), healthy abundance (anything that could support healthy a lifestyle), fall decor.

Eighth grade: spa, cooking, New Mexican.

THMS is also looking for donations of snacks (individually packaged) and drinks (individual servings) for the evening of the event.

The school has also organized a Thunder Walk fundraiser. Donations can be made here.

Share.
