Harvest season is upon us, and the Corn Guy, Galen Koen, who sells his sweet corn from Schwebach Farm in Moriarty, can be found just north of Tramway and Montgomery parked across from the Skyline Dog Park.
The corn is Non-GMO and hand-picked daily, Koen said. He is out at this location from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday through Friday. Patrons can get the ears in bundles of 12 for $9 or six for $5.
Schwebach Farm is used by vendors at the State Fair every year for roasted corn and can be seen at local farmers markets throughout the harvesting months. Schwebach Farm can also be found selling its sweet corn just east of Tramway and Central on Route 66 in the mornings Tuesday through Sunday.
The farm, which is owned by Dean and Ivellise Schwebach, sells more than just sweet corn. Varieties come in yellow and blue, as well as Chicos, pinto and bolita beans, and vegetables like carrots and potatoes with U-Pick garden hours from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Saturday. 
There are events held on the 160-acre estate with cottages for rent, bonfire parties and group tours.
