Most middle school students in the neighborhood can pick up their schedules for the upcoming school year Friday.

While Lyndon B. Johnson Middle School students got their schedules Thursday, students at James Monroe and Tony Hillerman can do the same Friday.

At THMS, sixth graders receive their schedules from 8:30-10:30 a.m.; seventh graders from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. and eighth grade students from 1:30-3 p.m.

Parents with siblings in multiple grade levels can come at any time but are encouraged to come between 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

After receiving your schedule, students should go to their advisory class (period 10 on the schedule) to receive the following:

  • Chromebook and charger
  • THMS Student Handbook
  • Temporary Student ID
  • Assign a locker. (students must have a combination lock at this time. All students are encouraged to use a locker since students will not be allowed to carry backpacks to the lunch areas. A small lunch bag/purse will be allowed in the cafeteria and lunch areas. If you are not able to get a locker on Aug. 5, your student will be issued a locker through their Advisory teacher, during the first week of school.)

James Monroe students with a last name beginning with A-L can pick up their schedules from 9- 11:30 a.m., M-Z students from 12:30-3 p.m.

Students and parents should enter through the front doors on the east side of the building.

Students will also take pictures for student IDs, and spirit wear will be available for purchase.
