The Freegal Music App, featured by the city of Albuquerque Libraries, gives an alternative to paid music streaming services, with free music, audiobooks and videos.

Just like Spotify, Freegal has featured playlists, and users can make their own playlists and share them from the massive catalog of more than 15 million songs.

Classic literature, comedy shows, old-time radio shows and commercials, as well as a selection of poetry with its audiobooks collection can also be found on the platform.

The app gives eight hours of free streaming per day and five song downloads per week through a library card sign in.
