The city of Albuquerque’s Spring Green Waste Pickup program comes to the neighborhood this week.
Solid waste customers can have their green waste picked up with the trash and recyclables at no charge this week.
Customers should put their green waste (leaves, grass and brush) in trash bags 5 feet away from their trash and recycle containers on their normal collection day, which is Friday. Bags should not weigh over 40 pounds, and branches must be cut to four feet and bundled securely.
Dirt, construction debris, gravel, construction materials and tree stumps will not be picked up.
