Albuquerque is hosting the 2022 USA Cycling Masters Road National Championships this week, and as more than 800 athletes compete in the event, some motorists will have to deal with road closures.

The USA Cycling Masters Road National Championships runs from Aug. 4-7 in multiple locations throughout Albuquerque and is free to the public. For the times and locations of the race, click here.

The location of Thursday’s time trials will close roads and cause delays for motorists in Northwest Albuquerque from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m..

  • Atrisco Vista Blvd. will be closed to traffic for periods of up to three hours while cyclists compete on the closed course.
  • Ventana West Parkway will be closed at Paseo del Norte.
