Players and coaches can register today to participate in NFL Flag New Mexico’s fall season.

NFL Flag is the official flag football program of the National Football League, with more than 500,000 boys and girls ages 5-17 playing across all 50 states and Canada. Entering its 25th year, NFL Flag is the only flag football program where players wear officially licensed NFL gear and can represent their favorite teams. There are more than 1,500 leagues this season, and all leagues are eligible to send teams to the NFL Flag Open and regional tournament series, with winning teams playing at championship games at the Pro Bowl and Super Bowl.

The New Mexico league will have 49 teams for the 2022 season in age groups 6 and under, 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U and 17 U. Games will be played at more than 20 locations across Albuquerque and Rio Rancho, including Taylor Ranch Library Park and Universe Sports Park in northwest Albuquerque.

The registration fee is $135 for the first player from a family with a $15 discount deducted for each additional player. There is a max fee of $500 per family.

Registration ends on Sept. 16 with the season beginning the next day and running through Nov. 6.
