The Summer Break Explorer Camp runs this week at the New Mexico Open Space Visitor Center.

The camp will feature outdoor exploration with hiking, science, literacy and art activities. Mornings will be spent outdoors in the bosque, wetland and grassland habitats, while the afternoons will be indoors extending the learning from the morning. The Explorer Camp is open for children ages 6-10.

The camp runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Friday with another camp scheduled for the week of Aug. 1-5. The cost for each camp is $100.
