It was bad news at the pumps throughout Albuquerque as the average price for a gallon of gas jumped to $4.27. It was at $4.02 last week.

The bad news stretched in the neighborhood, however, as several gas stations in NW Albuquerque had prices above the city average.

According to GasBuddy, the Chevron on Paradise was at $4.39 per gallon. The Speedway on Paradise and the one on Golf Course were both at $4.29, as was the Phillips 66 on Eagle Ranch, the Circle K on Unser, the Valero on Paradise and the Smith’s on McMahon.

Costco and Sam’s Club were at $3.87, but both require a membership. The Murphy Express on Alameda was the lowest at $4.18.
