After a big jump in gas prices last week, motorists in Albuquerque got a little bit of a break at the pumps this week.

The average price for a gallon of gasoline fell from $4.85 last Wednesday to $4.81 this week, according to GasBuddy.

A few gas stations in northwest Albuquerque were below the citywide average price, but many were over the average.

Sam’s Club was at $4.53, and Costco was at $4.56; both locations require memberships.

The Phillips 66 on Alameda and the Circle K on Unser were both at $4.79.

The Smith’s on McMahon and the location on Golf Course were both at $4.89, as was the Speedway on Paradise. The Speedway on Golf Course was at $4.87.

Chevron had the highest price per gallon again, with the location on Paradise at $4.89 and the location on Coors at a whopping $5.49.
