Average gas prices dropped more than other weeks this summer so far, dropping from $3.66 to $3.53 in the 87111. The national average for regular gas August 2021 was $3.25 per gallon, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.
Here are a few cheaper stations in the area for this week.
• Sam’s and Costco at N. Renaissance NE are both at $3.13 per gallon and require memberships.
• Murphy Express at 9700 Montgomery is $3.19 per gallon.
• Speedway at 8401 Montgomery NE is at $3.32.
• Phillips 66/Circle K at 9811 Montgomery is also at $3.34 per gallon.
