Each year, the Albuquerque Public Schools Education Foundation partners with Frank Frost Photography to recognize high school seniors who have selflessly given back to their schools and communities.

If you know a senior who fits that description, nominations are now open for the 2023 class of Selfless Seniors.

A Selfless Senior must:

  • Be a senior at an APS comprehensive, magnet or alternative high school.
  • Have a GPA of at least 2.0 and be in good standing with the school in terms of attendance and behavior.
  • Give back to a school and community without generally being recognized for those efforts by peers or the school.

Selfless Seniors are high school seniors who have given back to their communities, usually without recognition or praise.  They have made a difference in their schools and neighborhoods and been an inspiration to their fellow classmates.

The deadline to submit a nominee is Oct. 31

For more information, contact APS Education Foundation Staff member Val Burch at 505- 855-5273 or valerie.burch@aps.edu

Each Selfless Senior receives a free senior portrait from Frank Frost Photography. The portraits will be displayed on the APS website, electronic billboards and display boards in each APS high school, Albuquerque International Sunport, and other local businesses.
