Vince Lobato has been living his dream and keeping people in Ventana Ranch looking good for five years.
Lobato owns Next Level Barber Shop, located at 6510 Paradise Blvd. NW.
Next Level, which opened in 2010, has that old-time barber shop feel to it, with plenty of sports memorabilia decorating the walls and friendly barbers talking to clients while giving quality haircuts.
“This is a family-oriented community,” Lobato said. “We’re old school; we like sports, we have a bunch of regulars. We have guys who have been coming here since we opened 12 years ago.”
For Lobato, owning Next Level is a childhood dream come true.
“Ever since I was a little boy, man, I would go to the barber shop with my dad,” Lobato said. “I knew when I was a little guy that I was gonna be a barber and run a shop someday.”
Next Level offers haircuts, fades, shaves, beard trims, designs and more.
