Want to help care for the open spaces in your area? Come out to the Menaul Open Space cleanup project this weekend.

There will be projects for all ages and abilities. The event runs from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 16, with participants meeting at the Menaul Trailhead.

Morning snacks provided, but folks should bring their own water. They are also advised to wear comfortable workout clothes, a hat, boots, gloves and sunscreen.

Parking is limited at the trailhead, but parking is also available along Menaul. Volunteers should create an account and register for the event at play.cabq.gov or contact Dionne Epps at depps@cabq.gov or 505-768-4960.
