Drivers from northwest Albuquerque will need to find a new route to get in to or out of Rio Rancho beginning Monday.

Golf Course Road will be closed at Westside Blvd. for two weeks as construction continues in the area. The Water Authority is installing a 20-inch pipeline through the intersection.

Northbound drivers on Golf Course will need to turn right and go east on Ellison, then north on Coors Bypass to access Westside and Golf Course.

Drivers heading south should turn left and head east on Westside, then south on Coors Bypass, then west on Ellison.

Eastbound and westbound motorists will be detoured south on Coors Bypass, then west on Ellison to get on Golf Course.

Golf Course Road is expected to be open again on May 2.
