The FBI and Albuquerque Police Department are seeking help in identifying the “Shop and Rob Bandit,” who struck the First Convenience Bank Friday.

The robbery was reported at 11:13 a.m. at the bank located inside the Walmart Supercenter at 2266 Wyoming Blvd. NE. The suspect is a 6-foot tall, thin Black male. He was wearing  a dark blue flat cap, eyeglasses, a dark mask over his mouth, a purple and white checkered long-sleeve shirt, dark pants, brown shoes and a green pack slung over his chest.

According to a release from the FBI, the robber handed a demand note to a tell and received an undisclosed amount of money, the left the bank on foot, heading north.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect. Anyone with information should contact the FBI at 505-889-1300 or anonymously to the Albuquerque Metro Crime Stoppers at 505-843-STOP.
