Bernalillo County Commission Vice Chair Walt Benson is hosting the annual Evening in Paradise Celebration, which returns after a two-year hiatus because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event is 3-8 p.m. Saturday, June 4, at Paradise Hills Park. At dusk, the Movie in the Park featuring Encanto begins.
There will be food, fun, entertainment and activities for the kids and a presentation of the 2022 Evening in Paradise outstanding citizens.
Local artisans will be on hand to sell handmade goods and local produce vendors will be selling their products. Food trucks and food vendors will also be on site.
“We are really looking forward to seeing our Paradise Hills neighbors and surrounding area residents as we gear up for this free, family-friendly event,” Benson said in a press release. “And after a fun afternoon, stay and enjoy the county’s first Movies in the Park presentation of the summer.”
