Students at Eldorado High School were honored today for their high GPA achievements. 304 students in total earned their Eldorado Letter, or single or double bar pins, although about 50 came to the event to receive their awards.

Students who can keep a 3.5 GPA or more get their letter after three semesters or after their first sophomore semester. Juniors who can keep it up for five semesters get single bar status and Seniors after seven semesters gets double bar status.

Christina Sanders and Emma Burt got their single and double bar status, and both said they plan to attend college. Burt will be moving on to college in Idaho and Sanders hope to move on to either Washington and Colorado for Veterinarian school.
