The following is a recap of last week’s games for Eldorado High School, according to the APS athletics schedule and Maxpreps.

Football

The EHS boys varsity football team lost to the Atrisco Heritage Jaguars at their homecoming game Saturday, Sept. 3, with a final score of 54-33. This is the varsity team’s third loss this season, with a 0-3 record. The Jaguars dominated in the third and fourth quarters, getting 20 points in each. 

The varsity team will travel to Piedra Vista in Farmington to play the Panthers in a non-league outing on Thursday, Sept. 8.

The JV team will be playing the V Sue Cleveland Storm Sept. 6 at V Sue Cleveland High School. 

The freshman team will also be playing the V Sue Cleveland Storm Sept. 7 at V Sue Cleveland High School. 

Volleyball

The varsity volleyball team had good start to the season with two wins last week, winning 3-0 against the Manzano Monarchs on Aug. 30 and against the Cibola Cougars 3-2 Sept. 1. 

The JV volleyball team had one win and one loss last week, winning against the Manzano Monarchs 2-0 on Aug. 30 and losing to Cibola Cougars 0-2 Sept. 1. 

The freshman volleyball team won its first game against the Manzano Monarchs 2-0 on Sept. 1. 

The varsity team will be playing in the Metro Tournament all day Sept. 8 at APS Athletic Department. 

Soccer 

The boys varsity soccer team tied with the La Cueva Bears Sept.1 with a final score of 0-0. 

The girls varsity soccer won two games last week, first on Aug. 30 against the Sandia Matadors 3-0, and then against the Volcano Vista Hawks at 1-0 on Sept. 1. 

The girls JV soccer team  had a game against the V Sue Cleveland Storm on Sept.3, but the score has not been reported yet to MaxPreps.
