The Eldorado Golden Eagles varsity football team lost to the Rio Rancho Rams on Saturday, Aug. 27, with a final score of 34-17. The Golden Eagles now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars for a non-league challenge on Saturday, Sept. 3. The Jaguars record now stands at 1-1. The Eagles JV football team won against the Atrisco Heritage Academy Jaguars 38-26 in its second game of the season with the first being cancelled due to inclement weather. The next game is Tuesday, Sept. 6, with the V. Sue Cleveland High School (RR) Storm at 4800 Cleveland Heights Road NE, Rio Rancho.

The freshman football team had its first win with the Manzano Monarchs  Tuesday, Aug. 23, with a final score of 39-18. 

The Eagles varsity boys soccer team had a win against the Cibola Cougars with a final score of 3-1 on Aug. 23. The team tied with with the Albuquerque Bulldogs on Thursday, Aug. 25, with a score of 0-0 and also tied with the Rio Rancho Rams on Saturday, Aug. 27, with a score of 1-1. Their overall record is 1-1-2. Their next couple of games are with the Highland Hornets at 3:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 30, and Thursday, Sept. 8, against the Volcano Vista Hawks at VV High School.

The girls varsity soccer team has an overall score of 3-0-1 after winning 11-1 against the Del Norte Knights, and 10-0 with the Rio Grande Ravens. Their last game with the Rio Rancho Rams Saturday, Aug. 27, was a tie of 1-1. Up next is against the Sandia Matadors Monday, Aug. 30, and at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, with Volcano Vista at EHS.
