Dutch Bros Coffee is officially brewing up drinks in Ventana Ranch.
The Oregon-based chain opened its third Albuquerque location Friday just north of Paseo Del Norte on Universe Blvd.
The newest location offers a menu of cold, blended, hot drinks and muffin tops and is open daily from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Dutch Bros hired approximately 40 employees before opening but is still looking for more team members.
Liana Carruth, who began working at the new Dutch Bros in April, said the new location is off to a great start.
“Opening day was awesome,” Carruth said. “We had a steady amount of people come through; we did $3 drinks. We got to get our message out that we were open by getting to draw on our amazing customers windows that we were open and ready for business.
“We have coffee, teas, frost, freezes, hot cocoa, Dutch sodas, smoothies and more. We have the most sugar free options that I have seen in any coffee shop; we have anything your heart desires and would love to make it for you.”
While business was good for opening weekend, it’s expected to pick up even more once school starts as a half-dozen schools are within a one-mile radius of the new location.
