The right lane of Montgomery is closed from Jamaica to Juan Tabo NE for utility work.
The closure will last to April 15, but only from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. It could affect traffic around Eldorado High School.
The project is for Comcast/Xfinity fiber cable upgrades to the area.
Also, NMDOT is evaluating transportation improvements to the I-25 corridor between Comanche and Montgomery, including the freeway, frontage roads and interchanges.
This project will improve safety, mobility and reliability of the transportation network.
