College recruiters from New Mexico, Texas and Colorado will be scouting players at the upcoming Girls College ID Camp 2022. The camp takes place at Albuquerque Academy July 18-20 and costs $175 per player.

Ninth- through 12th-grade girls are invited to register for the camp on the Goals Soccer Academy website. Thirty of the 60 open spots were still available as of July 11. Colleges attending the camp include New Mexico State University, University of Texas El Paso, Colorado Mesa, Adams State, Western Colorado, St. Mary’s University and Texas A&M International.

According to Goals Soccer Academy, the camp will help players “gain recruiting exposure to multiple college coaches” and to “work directly with coaches from multiple levels of college soccer.” The camp provides each player with four training sessions and four 30-minute games, which will be filmed. College coaches will also receive handouts with details of each player.
