Nusenda Credit Union, in partnership with the APS Education Foundation, has selected Walter Gauge Warren Davis as the Student of the Week for the week of Oct. 31 to Nov. 4.

Davis is a fifth grade student at Chamiza Elementary. According to APS, his favorite subjects in school are math and science. He enjoys golfing and fishing with his dad, playing baseball, playing Xbox, chess club and playing with his dog, Alex.
Here’s what his teacher told APS about Davis:
“Gauge is an enthusiastic learner and always ready to be helpful in class. Whenever there are others around, he is smiling, welcoming, and trying to be a friend to others. He is also wonderful at working hard in class and participates often. Gauge also loves his family and is protective of them. He shares openly with others and enjoys life every day.”
