There were plenty of ups and downs in 2022, but for the most part, life was good in Albuquerque. Crime, tragedy, war, corruption and all the other perils of the day were still there, but the Neighborhood Journal found a lot of great things happening in the world as well.

Many of the stories in northeast Albuquerque were about success, learning and looking forward. The following photos tell a story of those successes and give a hint as to what is in store for 2023. Take a look at some of the great memories the year provided and charge forward into the new year with optimism and heads held high.
