How My Brain Works: An Author Event with Dr. Koltuska-Haskin

Get a deeper understanding about our brains with this presentation by Dr. Koltuska-Haskin. Learn about this vital organ and how to keep it healthy as Koltuska-Haskin discusses key findings from her award-winning book How My Brain Works: A Guide to Understanding It Better and Keeping It Healthy. Her work also takes a look at those who have brain injuries, learning disabilities, and those who are at risk of dementia. Registration required. This program will be held outside on our back patio.
Dr. Barbara Koltuska-Haskin is a Clinical Neuropsychologist in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She has over thirty years of clinical experience. In addition to her doctorate in psychology/neuropsychology, she has a Master of Science degree in Clinical Psychology and Bachelor of Education degree. She has completed 450 hours of academic coursework in psychopharmacology sponsored by the Southwestern Institute for the Advancement of Psychotherapy/New Mexico State University Collaborative. Her book How My Brain Works has received 7 awards, including the 2021 IAN Book of the Year for “Health/Medicine” and the 2021 Royal Dragonfly Book Award for “Health/Diet/Nutrition.” To learn more about Koltuska-Haskin and her book, check out her website.
