At Expo NM, Gate 3 (to be precise) awaits a dazzling experience. This Christmas attraction offers guests the convenience of a drive-thru and an option for a walk-thru experience, complete with hot cocoa. Guests love the themed characters that greet them and pictures with Santa (please verify Santa times on the website). The cost is by vehicle: vehicles with up to five guests are $60, and for large vehicles (with six or more guests) the cost is $75.

Northwest
Old Town


Head to Old Town for an unforgettable experience. As one guest reviewed, “this is our family’s one must-stop for the holidays.” Old Town’s website invites guests to experience holiday magic along Historic Church Street, Romero Street and the historic plaza. There’s lots to see and enjoy. Whether shopping for the holidays or indulging in good old-fashioned window shopping, Old Town is a welcoming place to take in the scenes of holiday cheer.

The Christmas Shop
Located in Old Town; already glowing with holiday cheer, this festive business is home to authentic New Mexico-themed ornaments crafted by local artists as well as traditional decorations. ABQ Bio Park- Botanic Gardens


With more than 500 light displays, the River of Lights installation is an easy stroll through 1.5 miles of unique light displays and Christmas decorations, including animated and 3D. Presented by TLC Plumbing, Heating, and Cooling, this spectacular display is one of New Mexico’s largest walk-through displays. Guest reviews call this experience “magical” for adults and children alike. Cost: Monday-Thursday admission is $14 for adults, $7 for kids (ages 3-12), and free for 2 and under. Friday-Sunday admission is $17 for adults, $9 for kids (ages 3-17), and free for 2 and under. Admission includes timeslots, with the last one at 9 p.m.
